Effective and Safe Nutritional Supplement

If you are also a vegetarian and or vegan, looking for a safe, effective, and trustable plant-based supplement to enhance your immunity, look nowhere. E.Excel and eLead carry a good range of plant-based supplements with one of their factory in Singapore!

This is the mix of Nutrifresh mixed fruit with the new E.Excel product OliOli. Looks and tastes yummy! Nice red colour 🙂

Nutrifresh contains a good blend of more than 15 nutritional ingredients per sachet. All their ingredients are in wholesome form: Soybean, banana, peach, pineapple, lemon, asparagus, barley, broccoli, cabbage, cantaloupe, carrot, orange peel, honeydew, pea, pear, grapefruit. It can provide you with the basic wholesome nutrients needed for a day, at less than S$2 a sachet!

OliOli in a sachet of 2.3g, contains high concentrations of just three ingredients: olive leaf, black goji berry, and red date.

Olive leaf has antioxidant levels higher than that of olive. Black goji has higher phenolic content, seven times that of blueberries, and five times higher antioxidants than red goji… no wonder black goji is so much more expensive in the market! Yet OliOli is quite affordable, at less than S$4 per sachet. No way we can get a decent bunch of blackberries at less than S$4… What about red date? It helps with the production of red blood cells and iron levels.

OliOli with Encore. Basically, any beverage with OliOli is nice! Haha. Quick to bring down inflammation.

Soy milk was found to be the most comparable to cow’s milk in terms of overall nutrients balance

When it comes to protein and calcium replenishment, most people will immediately think of cow’s milk. After all, it has been heavily advertised by milk and dairy companies on the amount of calcium and protein it contains, and its role in strengthening bones.

What was less promoted is soybean milk, which in fact contains nothing less than the amount of protein and calcium a cow’s milk has. And one does not have to think of lactose intolerance, the saturated fats, cholesterol, and antibiotics a cow’s milk has.

A recent article by Times Magazine mentioned, “Soy milk was found to be the most comparable to cow’s milk in terms of overall nutrients balance”, and “Soy milk even contains phytonutrients that have been shown to have cancer-fighting properties.”

https://time.com/5125580/soy-milk-healthiest-plant-based/

So what is your choice?

My choice naturally will be [Nutrifresh] and [Soupde] as they have a high concentration of soybeans 🙂 Nutrifresh is my daily morning drink as it provides me not only with the basic quality plant-based protein but also 13 different types of fruits and veggies for my macro and micronutrients. Soup de is the soup base that I will use when I DIY my mee hoon soup or mee sua soup for my lunch. The taste is addictive and I do not even have to think of adding much ingredients to my meal as it already has 11 different kinds of vegetables in it! ^_^ (soybean, white radish, carrot, pear, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprout, radish leaf, spinach, cauliflower, green bell pepper).

The best gift for Mother’s Day

Parents’ good health is the children’s best asset. Not sure if you feel the same. My dad left us when I was around 23 and he was 55. When he was around, the only gift I can think of for him was a massage chair. Tens of years have passed, my mom is now 76. Looking back, I know the best thing I have given my mom over the years is E.Excel products. At the current age of 76, she is very mobile, goes anywhere she wants and is independent. Her medical expenses are almost negligible. Ain’t all these the best gifts for us, the children?

The very first product my mom took is <ART>, when she was around 58. Like most elderly in their 50s who begin to experience knee pain. I got her on <ART> and it is currently one product that she believes so strongly about and does not want to stop taking. These days when people begin to walk with a limp at early 50s, she can still run for buses in her 70s😅.

<Nutrifresh> and <Evernew Orange> have also helped her long-term constipation problem. She is also on <Vision>, <Circle>, <Refresh>, <Encore>, <Millennium> and <Nutriact>. Every time when she has her eyes checked at GP, she passes with flying colors. When most of her peers went through cataract-removal surgery, she does not need to.

With the launch of <toThink> a few years back, immediately I want her to have it after studying the ingredients.

<toThink> contains very high concentration of American Ginseng and Lion Mane Mushroom. I am pretty sure no one can find such high concentration of american ginseng in another product brand, at this pricing.

After reading various literature on American ginseng, I definitely want my mom to have it! Vitality, prevent dementia, improves immunity, reduces flu and cold occurrences, reduces inflammation, and mental alertness. I told myself this is a must-have for her, at her age. And I always emphasised to her to finish one pack in less than three days for best results. I am glad she listens 🙂

I brought her for half yearly regular GP checkup and they will test her memory. And I always tell the doctors her memory is better than mine lol. Recently the doctor said, yes she could tell her memory is good. haha

So you see, ain’t the products investment all well worth it?

About Myself…

Hi, my name is Ai.

I studied Electronics and Computer Engineering as a student and picked up The Specialist Diploma in Nutrition and Exercise Science with Singapore Polytechnic as an adult.

E.Excel has been my full-time career for the past 15 years and adding on to the plate is eLead Global for the last 5 years. Both E.Excel and eLead Global are by the same Founder – Dr. Jau-Fei Chen.

Before E.Excel, I had a 9-to-5 job for about eight years. I had also tried my hands at traditional business before venturing into E.Excel Network Marketing. After consuming the products for a few months and gaining an understanding on the Business Structure, I have to say that I never look back again!

Sharing is my passion, and being able to share and inspire, helping and enrich another’s person life, while gaining self-fulfillment is what I find an ideal career!

I am very thankful to have been introduced to Nutritional Immunology products and be able to partner with renowned Scientist in a reliable, successful and well-established company. All my hard work is rewarded, and now I have more time for my family, friends, and volunteering to return back to society.

I am also a vegetarian and I love going to different places to try different vegetarian foods with friends. I am not born vegetarian, but it is definitely one of the best decisions I have made, other than choosing this career (E.Excel/eLead).

I hope I can update this blog as often as I can, and hope the information that I have shared will be of use to you. Occasionally, I will share interesting vegetarian foods I have come across too. Good things are to be shared!

The last two months were crazy… with the rise of Omicron cases, I had to do several urgent deliveries of NI products. But the rewarding part was, my friends recovered quickly and did not really suffer from long-covid or lingering after-covid symptoms like cough, and fatigue. Now the pandemic here seems to be cooling down, I can find more time to update my blog too. You may also drop me a chat for inquiries. Cheers!

Tea

A tea that nicely contains Green Tea leaf, Jasmine Flower, Ginseng, and Chrysanthemum Flower.

Green tea contains caffeine, yet it also provides many health benefits due to its abundance of polyphenols / flavonoids which can delay signs of aging, prevent cancer, and fights inflammation.

With Triflora, we can enjoy the benefits of green teas leaves without the caffeine as Triflora’s green tea leaves are specially harvested in season when the caffeine levels are at its lowest (almost negligible).

Triflora nice blend of leaves and flowers aid the removal of waste and toxins from the body, dispels heat, calm the senses, soothe the nerves and helps ward off anxiety. Ginseng is rich in many nutrients including vitamins A, E, Bs, calcium, iron and potassium. The inclusion of Ginseng enhances the refreshing effects on the body and helps to strengthen the immune system.

I like Triflora for how it is able to keep me energize me when I am working in front of the computer the whole day. Not to mention it can keep me hydrated 😀

Oh, it can also prevent headaches, migraines, menses flu, accordingly to many.

How about decaffeinated tea? According to some experts, most decaffeinated tea has close to 70% of the polyphenols stripped off and some of the most common decaffeination methods can leave trace amounts of dangerous chemicals on the tea leaves.

Nutrifresh and Refresh Mix!

I don’t usually mix powder products together to drink… So that I can enjoy each of the beverages as they are 😍 and at the same time this will ensure that I drink ample water. Except for some products which I think they taste definitely much better with a mix!

Not many, but one of which is Refresh 🤭 It tastes so nice with Nutrifresh 😋.

Nutrifresh provides the basic nutrients needed for a day and Refresh for healthy kidneys!

Nutrifresh is an important beverage for my start of the day. Because it contains more than 13 different types of fruits and veggies in a sachet, it provides me the basic nutrients for the day. The various real food components contain all the basic needed minerals, vitamins, fiber, protein, calcium, phytochemicals for the body.

Nutrifresh ingredients at just S$1.85 per day

Refresh nourishes our kidneys. According to Ministry of Health, kidney failure is a growing disease in Singapore. National Kidney Foundation (NKF) statistics revealed that there are about five new kidney failure patients a day and one new dialysis patient every five hours 🙁

Living in the current era where most foods are heavily processed and added with unknown additives, preservatives, high sodium and lacking of real nutrients, these definitely will cause a strain to our filter organs – the kidneys.

Refresh ingredients

For me, I definitely go for prevention at just 75cents a day 🙂

In my course of Nutrition and Exercise Science_Part 3: Nutrition Adequacy

I was reading The Straits Times when I came across this headline – “Take steps to prevent falls“, dated 1 April 2019.

This reminded me of an assignment given to us on the topic of Nutrition Adequacy.  Similar to the article, it was targeting the elderly’s health.

It was stated in the article that the number of hip fractures in Singapore is around 2500 per year.  And 20% from this group dies within a year 🙁  This is quite a high percentage…

Due to their immobility, their muscles get wasted and they also get complications such as bed sores, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, constipation and many more; all which threaten their lives.

Other than preventing osteoporosis to avoid fractures and higher chance, hip fractures, it is also important to prevent falls.  Why do the elderly fall?

Poor vision, muscle weakness are some reasons and chronic health conditions such as cardiovascular diseases with high or low blood pressure can cause dizziness.

Sarcopenia is a disease associated with muscle-loss with ageing.  With the loss of muscles, it is easy for them to fall.  To lower the rate of muscle-loss, strength (resistance) exercise, as well as sufficient protein intake is important.

“Protein is the king of muscle food. The body breaks it down into amino acids, which it uses to build muscle.” – https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/preserve-your-muscle-mass

However, again due to ageing, some begin to encounter difficulties chewing and/or swallowing of their food.  They tend to avoid fruits and vegetables, go for refined food such as white bread, rice, noodles that are easier to chew, but clearly in lack of vitamins and protein found in vegetables and legumes.

As one gets older, the calories needed is also less due to a drop in basal metabolism and lean muscle mass.  Their diet thus needs to be nutrient-rich.  Plant-based over animal-based are preferred as the former has no cholesterol, lesser calories and saturated fat.

Nutritional Immunology products such as Nutrifresh, Aromantic, Vegecolor become a very good wholefood beverages to supplement their diet for protein, vitamins, phytochemicals, fiber, antioxidants and calcium.

One can also refer to the Health Promotion Board – Dietary Guidelines for Elderly to understand more about elderly nutrition.

Last but not least, the elderly regard food as a family; the togetherness that equates to quality of life and eating well.

Prevent Liver Inflammation

Our liver gets inflamed almost immediately when we consume friedoily and, or spicy foods.

Prolong inflammation of the liver is not good as it can lead to fatty liver diseaseinsulin resistance with type 2 diabetescirrhosisfatigue, and even liver failure.

Unlike inflammation that occurs in other parts of our body where the pain will be felt, inflammation of the liver usually offers no signs and symptoms.  Thus prevention is of ultimate importance.

Presently, there’s no medical treatment for fatty liver disease. The good news is that most people can undo this damage by eating healthier and exercising more. Eating less animal products, eating more wholesome plant foods, more vegetables and fruits, such as blueberries, oriental raisin tree, Chinese mesona, and hawthorn, coupled with regular exercise, can be beneficial for the liver.

Phytotime contains the above mentioned ingredients. The way to drink Phytotime (Joy) is along with your meals!  When I drink it along with spicy meals, I find that my tongue doesn’t feel as ‘spicy’!  In other words, I can enjoy the spiciness of the food without feeling the burning sensation of my tongue!  I also drink it when I’m having my occasional favourite junk foods such as spicy potato/tapioca chips ?
